The story says that the first rowing boat race “La Regata” started on the 13thcentury.

The modern regatta boat race dates back on 18thcentury and on 1899 was officially nominated “storica”. The Venetian regata has always consisted of various races with different kinds of boat. Today, the most popular race is the gondolini regatta.
